Monday, April 4th

I am just restarting my diet.  I went off of it when I went out of town for a ladies' weekend March 24-27th, but didn't buy any fresh fruits or veggies before heading home.  I thought I could shop the next day, but discovered that my college course work was due THAT Wednesday, rather than the following Wednesday as I'd thought.   So, it was time to cram and buy food at our local store....no diet!    Then the stress of trying to get all my work done...well, it made for a bad week.   I pigged out!   Talk about emotional eating!!!     At least I only gained about 5 pounds. 

Anyway, Monday was a fresh start.   I got up at 6 AM to exercise with a friend.   We did the 2-Mile Walking Workout with Leslie Sansone.   Nothing too exerting, but it was a nice way to start the day and get my blood pumping.   I showered and fixed an omelet with 2 eggs and peppers (red, yellow, and orange).    I didn't write down any of the times or the foods I ate, but I know it was all OK food for the Phase One of the South Beach Diet.    I DID over-do it with probably 4 fudgesicles that day, but hey, a person's gotta have their weaknesses, right?       Overall, it was a good day.
