So far….After 20 days….


I did really well the first two days in January, but since I was on vacation and spending time with friends often means meeting somewhere for dinner, I finally let myself give up temporarily if I promised to restart.     So I restarted the diet on Monday.   Yes, this past Monday, two days ago!    It's already tough, but I'm back to work, so being on a schedule is helpful.   And I'm finding small ways to improve.  I have skipped the free desserts offered each night.   Tonight rather than doing computer work while supervising open gym, I walked laps for about 15 minutes and then put on a pair of ROLLER SKATES and made a few laps around the gym while trying to feel somewhat coordinated!

Since the start of the year I have managed to lose about 4 pounds, but I'm excited to see what a solid week of REAL EFFORT can do!
