So, my body may finally be readjusting to the change in time zones, but it's sure odd right now. I was VERY tired last night around 8:30, so I popped in a movie and laid on the couch, thinking I'd let myself fall asleep. The movie was too good. (SALT) I did, however, promptly fall asleep once it was over around 10PM. (That's early for me.)
I woke up around 2:30 and couldn't get back to sleep, so I finally got up and did some things around the house. I thought I was up for the entire day, so around 3:30AM I drank Slim Fast and took Sudafed since I was starting to feel dizzy again. Around 4AM, I went back to sleep. (It took me awhile to get to sleep and I had a crazy dizzy spell while laying in bed. Crazy. I'll be SUPER thankful when I have a day where I feel completely healthy again! People, don't take it for granted!!!!! THIS is another reason I need to do this blog and lose weight....so I can be healthy for the long haul!)
Ate 2 bananas before lunch. (Can't remember when.)
Ate 2 boiled eggs and a few pieces of beef jerky around 10AM.
Ate 1/2 a container of cottage cheese and had a fourth of a Health bar around 12:45PM.
Headache started up again around 4PM. Grr. Took Sudafed and waiting for it to kick in. Feeling a bit dizzy now (5PM), but at least during the workday I felt pretty good.
Plan to go home and fix homemade salsa (tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapenos, garlic salt, lime or lemon juice) and taco salad (crushed Doritos, ground beef with taco seasoning, iceburg lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, & French dressing). Might watch a movie or balance my checkbook - will depend on my mood when that time arrives. For now, I've got to stay late at work and get some things finished. :)
I'm starving right now and would LOVE a snack. You are inspiring me to try and curb my eating too. Lets starve together. :-) Stephanie C
ReplyDeleteFriends invited me to hang out at their place and they'd already cooked food, so I postponed the taco salad and instead ate:
ReplyDelete2 pizza rolls, 2 slices of meat pizza, and a drumstick (ice cream)
That night around 11 I went home and realized I forgot to take my antibiotics and I needed to eat with it, so I ate the last drumstick (yes, another ice cream treat) in my freezer. Ha! I figured I'd already been bad and then it wouldn't be in there to tempt me anymore. Silly woman, I know! I'm beginning to think I'm way too easy on myself in THIS area of my life and maybe that's part of the problem!
Stephanie, I HATE to post this right after your comment!!! But to know you- and perhaps others- are reading this, makes me want to do better!! Obviously I'm not starving, but I need to use some good sound judgement sometimes! :)
